Altar of Saint Nicholas of Tolentino

The altar dedicated to Saint Nicholas of Tolentino shows its altarpiece illustrating the Saint kneeling while he is admiring the Virgin. She is represented in the upper part of the painting, surrounded by a choir of angels. Below, you can see a date, 1706, year of its realisation. The painter of this work is unknown and its pictorial language is characterized by quick brushstrokes. The painting illustrating Saint Augustine, in front of this altar, is realized in the same way.
